School Closure Policy: 

This is where we will put information about potential school closures.  There are many reasons why school may close but mostly it will be because of the disruption caused by Snow. 

You will find the school's Snow Policy on this page.  This details the arrangements for heavy snowfall and the procedures that we will employ to keep everyone, staff, pupils and parents, safe in the event of severe weather.

In the event that the school will close for any reason then parents/carers will be contacted by text and/or email using the Eduspot Text System that we use to communication in school.  As far as possible this will be done in a timely manner and typically between 7.00 and 7.30am.  Parents attending before school club will need to be mindful that we may not be in a position to let you know before 7.30am and we would ask that you are patient with us in these circumstances. 

In the event that school will close early due to heavy snowfall during the day then we will notify parents by text/email and ask that you collect your child(ren) as soon as practically possible. 

The decision to close school will not be taken lightly and we will do all we can to remain open but circumstances may be beyond our control and we may have close or shut early to keep everyone safe and well.
