Welcome back Year 6, we hope you have had a lovely Easter break and are excited to dive into your learning!
This term we will be busy learning lots of new things:
- In RE, our topic is 'Called to Serve' and we will be learning all about the Seven Sacraments.
- In English we are studying Macbeth, we have already written a narrative (changing the ending of Macbeth) which Year Six decided to include lots of gory details! Now we are moving on to writing our own witches spell! Double, double toil and trouble....
- In Maths, we are revising all topics and consolidating knowledge.
- We will be learning all about the Ancient Egyptians in History. Delving into their everyday lives, who they worshiped and what they wore!
- In Art we will be creating our very own Egyptian art work on Papyrus paper, using ink to carefully create our Art.
- In Science we will be learning all about living things and their habitats, including learning all about Carl Leanneaus and branching keys.
- PE will be on a Monday and Friday. Please can all children be dressed appropriately for both. Dark tracksuit (dark blue, black or grey), white t-shirt and trainers.
- Spellings will be set on a Friday for a test the following Friday.
