Welcome
Welcome to St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School website. We hope the website provides you with an insight into our wonderful school, its brilliant young people and the wider community that we work together to serve.
St. Joseph’s is a single form entry school for children aged 4+ to 11+. Our school serves the community of Hunslet, in South Leeds and the Parish of St. Margaret Clitherow. Our young people are awesome; they work hard, behave impeccably and follow our Mission Statement by 'following in the footsteps of Jesus, having fun learning, achieving and loving together.' They live by, and reflect, the Catholic Virtues of our shared faith and do so with kindness, respect and love in their hearts.
We encourage, nurture and challenge every child in our school to be the very best they can be so as to achieve their full potential. Staff, parents and children work together at St. Joseph’s to create a loving, caring environment in which our children and young people feel safe, secure and happy. Our aim is to develop the whole child enabling them to make a truly valuable contribution to the world in which they live now and in the future. Our children and young people make us very proud and we, in turn, are immensely proud of them. We are ambitious for our young people and want only the very best for them.
We hope you enjoy our school website and that you will visit it often. There is lots of information about our lovely school here but St Joseph's is about so much more than just words on a screen or a webpage. It is about us, as a worshipping, evangelising and learning community of Jesus's friends and followers, all working together to create and build the Kingdom in our school community.
If you require further information or a free paper copy of anything on the website please contact Mrs Hurley or Mrs Richardson in the school office. Our contact details can be found here: contacts page.
