Part of our schools mission is to have fun together. In the afternoon the whole school went onto the field and played games together. The children got a little treat to keep them cool on such a warm day. 

Year 1 buddies up with the year 5 children for our following in the footsteps procession. The children walked around school with their decorated footsteps. They then went into the hall for a whole school collective worship. 

Year 1 focused on ‘Feeding the 5000’ from the gospel. The children listened to the gospel and discussed what virtues Jesus showed. We then talked about how we show these virtues in school. The children then made a basket and a fish. They wrote the key virtues from the gospel on the fish.
