The children of St Joseph's are our greatest asset and by visiting during school hours so that you can see them doing what they do best - enjoying school life, learning, sharing, celebrating our faith and living out our school virtues - you will get a true sense of what a truly unique place St Joseph's is. 

In Year Admissions

If your child is of primary school age and you wish to apply for a place at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, please visit the Leeds City Council Admissions site (click on the link above) and complete the In Year Common Preference Form and return it to the school office.  The school will hold the details on file and when a place becomes available at the school it will be allocated in line with the school admissions policies.

Please note, you must also complete a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) which can be downloaded below, or a paper copy may be collected from the school office. This must then be returned directly to school via the school office. Below is a Boundary Map applicable to St Josephs Catholic Primary School Admissions. To support the application please provide a copy of your child's birth certificate and baptism certificate (if applicable). We are very happy to photocopy the original certificates for you if you wish us to do so.

Appeals Processes:

You have the right to appeal to an Independent Appeal Panel for any school place you have been offered. If you would like to appeal for a place at our school you must complete the appropriate Leeds City Council appeal form. The forms can be found on Leeds City Council’s appeals webpage: www.leeds.gov.uk/schoolappeals  Completed appeal forms can either be e-mailed to:- education.appeals@leeds.gov.uk or posted to Leeds City Council, PO Box 837, Admissions, Leeds, LS1 9PZ. If you would like a paper copy of the form please contact Leeds City Council’s Admissions Team on 0113 222 4414.
