RSHE

At St Joseph's, Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) is an integral part of the curriculum, supporting the moral, spiritual, and emotional development of every child. Rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church, our approach seeks to help pupils understand the beauty of God’s creation, the dignity of the human person, and the importance of forming loving, respectful relationships.

We follow the Ten:Ten - Life to the Full programme, which provides a rich, faith-based framework for delivering RSHE in line with Catholic values. This is supplemented by Kapow Primary resources to ensure our curriculum remains engaging, age-appropriate, and relevant to the needs of our pupils today.

Together, these programmes help us guide children in understanding themselves, their relationships, and their responsibilities within the wider community always underpinned by the Gospel message of love and respect for all.
