This term, the Year 3 children are learning about Brazil and the Amazon Rainforest. As part of our topic, the children will visit Lotherton Hall to participate in a Rainforest and Wildlife workshop. As part of the National Curriculum, children should extend their knowledge and understanding beyond the local area. This will include the location and characteristics of a range of the world’s most significant human and physical features. Children will research the locations of the world's rainforests, identifying the various layers within them. They will learn about the people, animals, and plants that live within the Amazon Rainforest.
