The children of Year 2 raised £178 for St. Gemma's Hospice, Leeds, by organising and supporting a Christmas hamper draw. St. Gemma's provides free care, support and advice to people requiring palliative care or end-of-life care. Services include a 32-bed inpatient unit, community-based nursing teams, outpatient clinics, bereavement support for families, and specialised care for the homeless. St. Gemma's relies completely on the support and generosity of others to provide these invaluable services to the people of Leeds and their families.
